The first giant to defeat in walking by faith and obeying God is fear. Actually, he isn’t fear at all, he is laziness and wickedness (un-belief). Matthew 25: 24-27 We try to tell God that we can’t do what he said because we are afraid. But, as you’ll notice, he doesn’t buy it. He calls a spade a spade. You’re a wicked and lazy servant. You don’t believe that I’ll give you what you need to succeed in this mission that I’m sending you on. What’s more, you think it’s going to be too hard for you to do get done and, too much work. You want it simple and easy. The only way for this job to seem simple and easy is for you to get onboard with what I want you to do. Matthew 11: 28-30. Caleb knew this to be true: “Now then, give me the hill country about which the LORD spoke on that day, for you heard on that day that the Anakim (the Sons of Anak) were ther with great fortified cities; perhaps the LORD will be with me, and I shall drive them out as the LORD has spoken.” These are the words of a man who is neither lazy, unbelieving, or fearful.
